Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 18 September 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the Terms of Service. It states what you may and may not do with PDF Word Converter. We may refuse Jobs or block access if this AUP is broken.
1. Allowed use
You may use PDF Word Converter to process PDF files that you own or that you are authorised to change, for lawful personal or internal business purposes, within the technical limits of this installation.
2. Prohibited use
You must not:
- Upload malware, exploited documents, or content designed to damage the site, worker, or database
- Attempt to scan, penetrate, overload, or reverse engineer the Service beyond what the law allows
- Bypass rate limits, quotas, or access controls, or probe other people’s Jobs
- Process material you are not allowed to copy, modify, or share
- Use the Service to commit fraud, harassment, or any other crime
- Misrepresent yourself as PDF Word Converter, or resell raw access to this installation without the operator’s written permission
- Interfere with other users’ ability to use the tools
3. Unlock and protect
Unlock may be used only on files you own or are authorised to open. Using Unlock to defeat someone else’s password or digital rights management is forbidden. Protect must not be used to hide illegal content.
4. Abuse and automation
Reasonable use of the public tools is allowed. High-volume automated scraping or Job flooding that degrades the Service is not. We may throttle or refuse traffic that looks automated or abusive.
5. Enforcement
We may delete Jobs, refuse uploads, or suspend access with or without notice when we reasonably believe this AUP or the Terms have been violated. Repeated or serious abuse may be reported to the relevant authority. Report misuse via Contact.
